I hand-painted one tile of this pattern in gouache. The tile was then scanned and digitally adjusted so that it could be used to form a cleanly repeating pattern. I am using wallpaper with this pattern for a more complicated project of my own - but it came out so beautifully that I wanted to offer it for purchase on its own!
This pattern is the first pattern that I’ve made available through Spoonflower. Spoonflower requires all vendors to order and approve swatches before making them available for sale. Please note that this damask is very unique and deep in tone; however, because it is darker in color, the texture of the wallpaper and/or fabric it is printed on will be especially evident. I would highly recommend beginning with swatches to ensure that you wind up with a texture and finish that you love!
